24 Hour Assistance
If urgent treatment is required which is not available locally our plans provide cover for Emergency medical evacuation to your country of choice within your area of cover.
In the first instance you must contact the Assistance Service Providers as shown above and have the following information at hand.
In the event of all evacuations the following details will be necessary:
- Members name, date of birth, and nationality
- Policy number and expiry date
- Date of illness / accident
- Nature of problem
In the event of an overseas evacuation the assistance provider will also need to know:
- Name and number of Hospital where you intend to go
- Treating Doctor’s name
- Name of patients own doctor, if any
The Assistance company will advise what action needs to be taken, and will make arrangements for air tickets to be purchased, if necessary. They can also make arrangements for Hospital admissions.
In the event of any evacuation, ALL COSTS MUST BE PRE APPROVED
